Es una medida de liquidez de un mercado. El BID es el precio al cual un comprador estar\u00eda dispuesto a comprar y el ASK el precio al que un vendedor estar\u00eda dispuesto a vender. As\u00ed, cuanto menor sea la diferencia o spread entre BID y ASK, m\u00e1s l\u00edquido ser\u00e1 el mercado.<\/p>\n<p>En el mercado .<\/p>\n<p>En el mercado <strong>FOREX<\/strong>, existen, como en el resto de mercados unos precios de compra y otros de venta. El <strong>precio <em>ASK<\/em><\/strong> es aquel a que un inversor puede comprar una moneda base. El <strong>precio <em>BID <\/em><\/strong>es aquel al que un inversor puede vender moneda base. Claro est\u00e1, el precio expresado en la otra moneda de su par de cotizaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<p> <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>No se trata de las diferencias de cotizaci\u00f3n en el tiempo, sino de los distintos precios que hay simult\u00e1neamente para comprar o vender. La diferencia entre el precio de compra y el de venta en el mismo momento se llama <strong><em>spread<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Siempre ser\u00e1 mayor el precio de compra que el de venta (<strong>ASK mayor que BID<\/strong>). Esta diferencia se debe a que los <em>Market Makers<\/em>, las empresas que trabajan invirtiendo en el FX, no suelen cobrar comisiones por las ganancias de sus clientes, sino que ganan con la diferencia entre los precios de compra y venta.
